NOUN (संज्ञा)

Noun :- संज्ञा किसी व्यक्ति, जानवर, स्थान या वस्तुओं का नाम है।(A noun is the name of a person , animal , place or things.)

Example :- Ram , India , Japan , Etc.

संज्ञा कितने प्रकार की होती है?(How many kinds of Noun ?)

पारंपरिक अंग्रेजी व्याकरण के अनुसार संज्ञा पांच प्रकार की होती है। (There are five kinds of Noun Accourding to Traditional English Grammar .)

1. Proper Noun (व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा)
2. Common Noun (जातिवाचक संज्ञा)
3. Collective Noun (समूहवाचक संज्ञा)
4. Material Noun (द्रव्यवाचक संज्ञा)
5. Abstract Noun (भाववाचक संज्ञा)

1. Proper Noun (व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा) :- व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा किसी विशेष व्यक्ति, जानवर, स्थान या वस्तु का नाम है। (A proper noun is the name of a particular person , animal, place or thing.)

Example :- Ram , Tom , Abdul , Etc.

2. Common Noun (जातिवाचक संज्ञा) :- जातिवाचक संज्ञा वह नाम है जो एक ही वर्ग या प्रकार की प्रत्येक वस्तु या व्यक्ति को दिया जाता है।(A common noun is the name given to every things or person of the same class or kind.)

Example :- Boy , Girl , City , Etc.

3. Collective Noun (समूहवाचक संज्ञा) :- समूहवाचक संज्ञा वह नाम है जो लोगों, जानवरों या वस्तुओं के समूह को दिया जाता है।(A collective noun is the name given to a collection of people, animals or things taken as a whole . )

Example :- Team , Class , Army, Etc.

4. Material Noun (द्रव्यवाचक संज्ञा) :- द्रव्यवाचक संज्ञा किसी पदार्थ या पदार्थ का नाम है जिसे मापा या तोला जाता है लेकिन गिना नहीं जाता। ( A material noun is the name of a matter or substance which is measured or weighed but not counted . )

Example :- Milk , Coffee , Water , Etc.

5. Abstract Noun (भाववाचक संज्ञा) :- भाववाचक संज्ञा किसी ऐसी चीज़ का नाम है जिसे देखा या छुआ नहीं जा सकता लेकिन (हमारे दिमाग में) सोचा जा सकता है। (An abstract noun is the name of something that cannot be seen or touched but can be thought of (in our minds) .)

Example :- Love , Death , Birth , Etc.

 

इस आधुनिक अंग्रेजी व्याकरण में संज्ञा कितने प्रकार की होती है?(How many kinds of Noun in this Modern English Grammar ?)

इस आधुनिक अंग्रेजी व्याकरण में संज्ञा तीन प्रकार की होती है।(There are three kinds of Noun in this Modern English Grammar .)

1. Proper Noun( व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा)
2. Countable Noun (गणनीय संज्ञा)
3. Uncountable Noun (अगणनीय संज्ञा)

1. Proper Noun (व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा) :- व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा किसी विशेष व्यक्ति, जानवर, स्थान या वस्तु का नाम है। (A proper noun is the name of a particular person , animal, place or thing.)

Example :- Ram , Tom , Abdul , Etc.

2. Countable Noun (गणनीय संज्ञा) :- जिस संज्ञा को गिना जा सके उसे गणनीय संज्ञा कहते हैं। (A noun which can be counted is called a Countable Noun. )

Example :- Boy , Cat , Book , Etc.

3. Uncountable Noun (अगणनीय संज्ञा) :- जिस संज्ञा को गिना न जा सके, उसे अगणनीय संज्ञा कहते हैं। (A noun which cannot be counted is called an Uncountable Noun.)

Example :- Milk , Ink , Oil , Etc.
