like a fish and his father was a gambler and he looked like a pig while eating.

4. Why does he complain all the time of palpitation and veins throbbing?
Ans.-Lomov is a short tempered person, resulting in heart’s weakness. During hot-heated discussion with Natalia his heart starts palpitating and veins throbbing.
5. Why does Natalia cry and weep to know that Lomov has come to propose to her?
Ans. Natalia cries and weeps because the proposal of marriage is not discussed and the other matter of disputes about Ox-meadows takes place. So she repents on her indulging in hot heated discussion with Lomov which was quite unjustified. She was quite unaware of the fact that Lomov had come for the marriage proposal which she later knew.
